This section highlights the CardioPulmonary Exercise Testing capabilities as well as the Indirect Calorimetry Testing capabilities. Through the highly efficient Breath-by-Breath, Mixing Chamber, and Dilution modes, Vmax Encore acquires and displays exercise and nutritional test data in a format that is easy to see and evaluate. Automated or manual selection of anaerobic threshold (AT), automated slope calculation and the ability to overlay and trend previous tests are a few of the many features designed to provide maximum ease of use for the user. Vmax Encore is available in single or dual screen configurations and offers the users a high level of configuration flexibility to fit the needs of their testing population. Is an accurate and reliable system that allows the determination of a
subjects' metabolic response while exercising or working. The system records
the data, breath-by-breath, based on the "Open System Approach". It is a light battery operated portable ergospirometry system that is mounted to the subjects' body via a comfortable vest.

The breath-by-breath data is collected through a facemask or mouthpiece and is sent to a host computer system via wireless transmission (telemetry), making the device suitable for use in a non-laboratory environment. Fields of Application: sport and exercise, rehabilitation, work environment. Windows based software, including Spirometry, Flow-Volume program, on-line registration program for the transmitted data, evaluation software and reporting system.
