The CareFusion (formerly Viasys Healthcare) range of sleep diagnostic instruments comprises of everything from portable apnoea and sleep screening systems for outpatient use to stationary multi-bed sleep laboratories including video monitoring and sophisticated analysis features (Somnostar Pro).  

CareFusion also supplies options such as Oesophagus Pressure Measurement, pH measurement, Temperature Measurement, Capnography and Respiratory Inductive Plethysmography.
Matrix and Somnostar software make scoring and reporting of sleep studies more efficient and easy.

The Somnostar Pro sleep application provides seamless interfaces to a variety of powerful transducer packages including Respiratory Inductive Plethysmography (RIP) for real time breath by breath Flow Volume Loop analysis, nasal pressure flow devices, fully internal and/or external pulse oximetry, capnography, body position, actigraphy and more.

The Somnostar system offers 64 available channels per patient. The Somnostar software allows for analysis for adults, infants, babies and premature babies.
