The multi-talent for your uni-directional Doppler sonography

Each probe contains a transmitting crystal, which continually emits ultrasound. If the ultrasonic wave encounters a moving structure, the reflected ultrasound changes frequency in accordance with the Doppler-principle. the frequency-modulated signal is captured by the probe’s transmitting crystal and transmitted for signal-processing, which determines the amount of Doppler-shift. This is the difference between the sent and received signals, and is proportional to the speed with which the reflectors move. The Handydop therefore provides you a signal that reflects the flow-rate of blood or characteristic noises of the fetal heart.

With the ELCAT Handydop, you now cover all areas of your unit-directional doppler-sonography. Optionally connectable ultrasound probes with frequencies of 2, 4 and 8 MHz make it an ace for expert proof of fetal heart activity in the early stages of pregnancy or for arterial and venous vessel-diagnostic. Its new sending- and receiving-technology, integrated into the probe’s plug, guarantees that every ultra-sonic probe is optionally adjusted for its respective application area – for uncompromised signal-quality.

Where, up to now, probe-plugs had to be connected through complicated screwing-mechanisms, now light pressure onto a locking-key is sufficient for you to effortlessly pull the plug. Insert the new probe-plug until a soft ‘click’ indicates correct fit – done!
